With the great young students potential of 4000 odd number ... if we can prepare a database of all the students blood groups database its would be of great use in emergencies cases where blood is needed
there is a acute shortage of negative blood groups in warangal .For last 10 days i am receiving calls from outsiders for urgent need of negative blood its fortunate that i can help all of them by just enquiring in friends circle i could get a donar every time .But in a long run its wont be easy .So we have already took a permission from red cross to form a YOUTH RED CROSS ... we need to collect data of all blood groups of students and prepare a organized list of donars .If this is done it would of great help to people who are in need in blood
we are very glad that prof CSRK prasad sir assured his help in this
hope will materialize by next semester

2 days with srihari
A year before i joined NITW , heard from seniors students enjoyed a flavor of a nice man the then president of student council SRIHARI MANERU ... one who is committed towards this work and service to college and society ..
He and some of this friends were the founders of lakshya foundation which is established and a social platform to students ... as its first 1st project as funding students of poor economical background ... it is now funding 5 students .. from the next financial years its going to fund 10 students totally . lets hope it goes gr8
it is starting its next project on corneal eye donation
He resigned his job and came back to hyd to work for some nice NGO and also work for college for VA shastry innovation and incubation center and alumni relations
we went around all a round the campus and its surrounding meeting many profs and students .. and presenting them about lakshya new project and our view in devoloping alumni affairs .. every one responded well and assured there extended support
i myself might be mostly working next year for lakshya , developing alumni affairs , VA shastry innovation center
he will be here in college every alternate weekend and work for innovation center
lets hope for the best

weekly meet
All the asthra members had a formal meet today and discussed what to do this week .. It went on for 90 mins which we had a serious discussion on IT , academics , live projects
with only 1 month left for the exams all have decided to start studying seriously and thought of coming to a final decision where to do IT this summer ..also thought of working on some live technical problem and try to find out a solution for it
asthra team also thought of working with srihari passed out of 2008 batch who left his job and working for NGOs and innovation center in our colg. i am meeting him on 20th and 21st march i.e this weekend
so shortly speaking decide of IT by this week , concentrate on studies , work along with srihari are the major conclusions
hope we have an another meet this weekend and we may discuss on CAT , GRE and stuff
few more students may join us in next meeting . i will list my teamates after our next meet

As 20th century is the century of inventions .... now 21st century without no doubt is the century of innovations... world is now looking for innovators ...
its a clear fact that innovation comes out of a necessity . where there is a problem the is necessity for a solution an innovation pops out of a sharp mind
India with its backbone as rural areas there are plenty of innovations in order millions according to recent survey . Hope its time to go in search of such innovations ... and its time to get them documented before they get vanished
NIF national innovation foundation with collaboration of honeybee AP are conducting social internships in warangal, kurnool, vishakapatnam , adilabad districts in AP
it would be a thrilling experience all through the intern time would leave you a lively moments .It would help you to expose some social , economic , technical problems thay rural areas are facing which would help you to come up with live projects .

objectives of asthra
The world around is turning out to more and more competitive and even more complex... so to meet the competitive levels and and also understand the complexity the world is driving into.... and to expose to global markets
i would like to say there is a need for us to take an initiative to keep ourself extraordinary to the outside world .
i thought of starting a thing ( i dont know what we call it) in our college by myself and my friends named ASTHRA -- armed to serve
as if now there are few products which i wish to start under this i would kindly like to brief you about each product
PRODUCT 1 :-
all of them would divide into groups of 5 or 6 members each . each group should conduct events which will be leaded by one person for one event and groups will be reshuffled after every one gets a chance of leading an event . like that a series of events will be conducted each event may last for 3 hrs or more or else .
the main objective of this product is all should get a good grip on group discussion , corporate and rural knowledge and link between them , general knowledge , psychology studying , LEADERSHIP qualities , SELF LEARNING skills , communication and life skills .
the type and way of events conduction freedom is completly given leader who leads the event its in his hand how innovatively he designs the event
and organises it but at end of each event all should gain something and the objective of the product should be attained
PRODUCT 2 :-
branch awareness :getting a complete awareness of our branch and its interlinking branches as interface engineering is most essential . the advancements in branch , the future of branch for next 50 years , how diversified branch can be applied , by choosing which area how much community can be reached . a complete knowledge of the field which we are studying ...
what are the areas which will be commercially good , which will be good for research and development . many websites which are useful for branch knowledge .every issue regarding the branch a detailed research is done regarding that which is shared among ourself at last every one is benefited up to core
PRODUCT 3 :-
goal achieving : this product should encourage in achievement of the goal by getting together like goal people , by sharing the information , by making available the history and autobiographies which inspire them in reaching , on a whole a large data base . the way they should approach to reach the goal. making every research about the duties the objectives that are to done after reaching goal.
PRODUCT 4 :-
extra language learning : as being an indian who by genetic and nature have ability to learn and speak multi languages an any point time under this product we would like learn an extra language in additional to known languages , after getting satisfied with learing of present language switch on to the next language may be foriengn or indian .... this can help us to connect to many parts of country and world very easily .. try to learn as many languages as possible . which makes more exposure to the world thats the objective
PRODUCT 5 :-
social work : doing a social work which helps us in our career , in devolopng our health , by which knowledge and experience which we get by doing this social work would help immencely in our future and inturn serve the country
we can take part in organisations which work with commitment . data base of such should be collected . or personally service can done but the untimate theme is to serve he nation and inturn have a benefit for our carrer
these are the products which presently came out my mind before few days....
any other innovative product recommended is invited . please kindly say your views on it
please try for more products and improvements of present products thought ... its not one who can do everything.
we will try have some mentors from outside
as objectives are mentioned the design of the product how they should work is not yet done all the members are requested to propose the design of the products ,
every one is requested to propose a daily schedule which makes the ASTHRA run smoothly and doesnt disturb academics .( a diffrent schedule is recommended for working days , weekend holidays , winter and summer holidays )

asthra .. by meaning a strong powerful word which penetrates in brain in its first sounding only... the same applies when you here its objectives
the idea of asthra came out of me with inspiration of brig ganesham a great man i have ever seen in my life .... and with the encouragment of two of my mates in college one my best friend and other my sister with them it turned materialistic ...
the flavour of asthra began to work first on my classmates who got impressed with idea joined there hands with me and also became founder members of asthra
basic motive of this is alround devlopment of students of my colg and of possible in future spread it to other colleges
